Privacy Policy

SKDI ObGyn is an educational reference application for studying Obstetrics & Gynecology competency topics. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices available to you.
Request account or data deletion
1. Educational purpose
SKDI ObGyn is designed for learning, revision, and reference. It is not a healthcare provider, diagnostic tool, treatment service, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice. Do not use it to make decisions about a patient or to store patient-identifiable information.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores the following information locally on your device so its offline learning features can work:
- bookmarks and completion/progress state;
- personal study notes that you choose to create;
- local app preferences and the selected Google account identifier used to separate local user namespaces.
The main educational catalog is packaged as a read-only local database. The developer does not receive your local bookmarks, progress, or notes as part of normal offline use.
3. Google Sign-In
Google Sign-In is used as the app identity mechanism. The app receives basic account identity information made available by Google, such as your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image URL. This information is used to separate your learning data, identify your RevenueCat customer, and show your signed-in profile. A protected session on the same Android device can remember your account after the app closes or the device restarts. Signing out removes the remembered session; it does not erase your learning data or cancel a subscription. The app does not use Firebase Authentication or Firestore.
4. Optional Google Drive backup
Backup and restore are manual, optional Pro actions. Backups contain the study notes, bookmarks, completion state, and backup metadata for the Google account used in the app. If you choose to use them, the app requests access to Google Drive’s hidden appDataFolder area so it can store and retrieve the app’s own backup file. The backup is not placed in your normal visible Drive files. The app does not request access to unrelated Drive files and does not perform automatic two-way cloud sync.
5. Export
You may export your local learning data as CSV or JSON. Export is initiated by you and the resulting file is handled by your device and the destination you select.
6. Pro membership
Optional annual Pro membership is purchased through Google Play and managed with RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your app user ID, email attribute, and purchase history to provide membership access and subscription analytics. Google Play processes payment details; SKDI ObGyn does not receive your full payment card details. Final pricing and any introductory offer are shown by Google Play before purchase. Some accounts receive promotional access granted by the developer. Verified membership can support offline access for up to seven days, limited by subscription expiry. First sign-in, purchases, and Drive operations require a connection.
7. Sharing and retention
We do not sell your personal information. Local learning data remains on your device unless you explicitly export it or initiate a Google Drive backup. Local data and private Drive backups remain until you remove them using the controls described below. App customer information is retained to provide membership services until account deletion is processed. If retention is required for a legitimate purpose, support will explain the specific data, reason, and applicable period. Google Play may retain payment and transaction records under its own policies and legal obligations. See the Google Privacy Policy and RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
8. Account and data deletion
To request deletion of your SKDI ObGyn app account and associated data, email admin@mykps.id from the Google email you use to sign in. Use the subject SKDI ObGyn account deletion. You do not need an active Pro membership or an installed copy of the app to make a request.
To request deletion of selected data while keeping your account, use the subject SKDI ObGyn data deletion and describe the data involved.
Email an account deletion request
If the button does not open an email app, write to admin@mykps.id using any email service. Opening this page or the email composer does not submit a request; you must send the message yourself.
What happens after your request
Support will acknowledge your request, verify ownership, and communicate the expected completion time. Never send passwords, one-time verification codes, payment card details, or patient information. After verification, we process deletion of the app customer profile and associated personal data we manage through RevenueCat and any other relevant service provider. We will confirm the outcome and any remaining steps. If any data must be retained for a legitimate purpose, we will explain the data, reason, and applicable retention period.
Subscriptions and Google accounts
Account deletion does not automatically cancel Google Play billing or delete your Google account. Manage renewal separately in Google Play subscriptions using the account that paid. Signing in or purchasing again may create a new app customer record. Revoking Google access alone does not delete the RevenueCat customer record.
Data on your devices
Support cannot remotely erase local study data. To remove all local app data, use Android Settings → Apps → SKDI ObGyn → Storage → Clear storage. This removes local app data and remembered sign-in on that device. Repeat on other devices if needed, and save anything you want to keep first. Reset local learning data inside the app affects local learning records only; it is not account deletion. Signing out alone does not erase learning data.
Your private Google Drive backup and exports
Support cannot remotely access or erase your private Google Drive app-data area. In Google Drive on the web, open Settings → Manage apps → SKDI ObGyn and use the hidden app-data deletion option if available. Contact support if you need help finding the current Google controls. Copies exported or shared elsewhere must be removed at those destinations separately.
9. Security
We use local storage, platform account authentication, and provider-managed security controls appropriate to the features described here. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure, so avoid entering sensitive or patient-identifiable information in personal notes.
10. Children
SKDI ObGyn is intended for adult learners and healthcare-profession education contexts. It is not directed to children.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page. For privacy or app questions, contact admin@mykps.id.
